A Hydrosol, also known as a hydrolate/ Floral Water is the condensed water that remains after producing an essential oil using steam / water distillation. During the Distillation process two layers are extracted, one is the essential oil and the other is the water which contains a small amount of the essential oil and all the water soluble parts of the plant.
