Q1. What is the difference between Fragrance Oils and Essential Oils?
Essential oils are the pure and natural essence extracted from the flowers, leaves, stems, bark, roots or other parts of a plant with its own unique and distinct quality and therapeutic properties.
While Fragrance oils are artificially created fragrances containing synthetic substances. Fragrance oils may resemble and smell like real essential oils, but it does not provide the natural and therapeutic benefits of the plant.

Q2. Why can I not use the essential oils directly on the skin?
As the essential oils, absolutes, floral water, attars and other concentrated essences should not be applied directly to the skin in their undiluted or "neat" form. Some essential oils can cause severe skin irritation or an allergic reaction. They must be diluted with carrier oils before the topical application. Remember all essential oils are not miscible with water. Always consult a medical practitioner and do a skin patch test before using an essential oil that you've never used before. If you have any medical problem use essential oils only under the proper guidance of a qualified medical practitioner and consult the material safety data sheets (MSDS) to determine the hazards and handling requirements of essential oils.

Q3. How are essential oils used in aromatherapy?
Aromatherapy is understood as a form of alternative medicine in which healing effects are recognized of the aromatic compounds in essential oils. It helps in psychological as well as physical wellbeing. Aromatherapy uses various essential oils as treatment or prevention of disease.

Q4. What is a perfume?
Perfume is a combination of essential oils/ fragrant oils/aroma compounds and fixatives and solvents to create a pleasant scent. It is the concentration of fragrance/aromatic compounds in a solvent (ethanol or a mix of water and ethanol) that is manufactured synthetically.

Q5. Can I use essential oils internally?
Do not take any essential oils internally without consultation from a qualified medical practitioner. Do not give essential oils to the children. Essential oils are cconcentrated in nature and can be dangerous if taken internally. Always consult material safety data sheets (MSDS) to determine the hazards and handling requirements of essential oils.

Q6. What is the best way to apply essential oils?

They must be diluted with carrier oils before the topical application. Remember all essential oils are not miscible with water. You can apply the essential oils on the required area using one to six drops in quantity. More oil quantity applied does not mean better results rather it can be dangerous and uncomfortable. Generally one to three drops of oil applied is usually enough to get the desired results.
Do not mix essential oil blends available in the market on your own as they have been specially formulated by individuals who understand the chemical constituents of each oil. The natural properties of the essential oils can be altered when mixed improperly.
Always consult a medical practitioner and do a skin patch test before using an essential oil that you've never used before. Q7. Can I use essential oils if I'm pregnant?
We do not recommend to use essential oils during pregnancy as there is insufficient published information on the essential oils and their blends available in the market to demonstrate its safety/ non- adulteration. Pregnant women frequently report an abnormal sensitivity to smells and taste, and some essential oils can cause irritation and nausea therefore always consult a medical practitioner before using any essential oils during pregnancy.

Q8. How should I store my aromatherapy oils?
Essential oils change over time therefore we must use proper way to store them ensuring its safety, quality and ensuring a longer shelf life.
Some essential oils lose their original properties when exposed to sunlight or in high temperature. Therefore keep essential oils in cool dark place use dark glass bottles like cobalt blue, indigo, green and brown rather than clear bottles or Aluminum bottles with interior lined or wooden box can also be used to store essential oils bottles. Do not use plastic container as it cannot protect the oil properties for a long. Shelf life of essential oils is also reduced once combined with carrier oil.

Q9. Extracting Essential Oils:-
Generally it is the plant material that governs which extraction method will be used to obtain the essential oil to maintain the optimum quality.
Extraction Methods are as follows:-
Distillation method heats the raw material, vaporizing the volatile compounds and then condensing the vapour back into a liquid. At the end the essential oil is separated from the water, its by-product collected is called floral water/Hydrosol. It is the most common method used today. Different distillation processes are:-
1. Water distillation
2. Steam distillation
3. Hydro diffusion
Solvent extraction uses solvents (hexane/ethyl alcohol/ Hypercritical carbon dioxide) to extract the essential oils. Different solvent extraction processes are:-
1. Maceration
2. Enfleurage
3. Solvent
4. Hypercritical carbon dioxide CO2
Expression is a cold pressed method which is mainly used to extract of citrus essential oils. Different expression extraction processes are:-
1. Sponge expression
2. Machine abrasion

Price depends on the choice of essential oils that make up your Signature Fragrances. To get the market edge contact us with your details, assess the samples we send you, request if any changes required, finalise when you are satisfied and then place the order. The minimum quantity order is 5kg for Signature Fragrances.

Q11. How to buy essential oils ?
Click on products button and find ajwain oil, Amber oil, Anise oil , Black musk Etc... There are other pages available at top and bottom of product display page which can be found by clicking numeric page numbers 1, 2,3, .
To buy a product click on the cart button of selected product one side you will get the description of the product and on the another side you will find Product Name, Code, Country of origin, Botanical Name. Weight and Prices and Quantity and their related product ( if there is related products then it will show you otherwise it will show you as
No related product found)
For Example: If you click on Essential oils you will find the sub category of the products and if you will click on any particular product of your choice then you will find the proper description of the product ,product name, weight and price and quantity and Method of extraction and related product (if there is a product related to that product it will show you otherwise it will show you as NO related product found).
Also once you select the weight, price and the quantity of the product ,their is an option of ADD TO CART, where you will find product cart page it will show you the the all the selected things and also few options at the bottom like browse product, clear cart, remove product, update quqntity, check out ( means if you need to check all the itnes at the end then then you can add edit and delete the items ).
Also there is a option to email to a friend (where you can send the products details to your friend which you like)
